From Vancouver Island we’ll journey south along the picturesque Pacific Coast of Oregon and Washington States to the sophisticated city of San Francisco - America's favourite city, home to the famous Golden Gate Bridge and a myriad of sensational attractions. Our impressive journey takes in a feast of sightseeing opportunities, including the 'Emerald City' of Seattle, historic Portland, Reno - the 'biggest little city in the world', Napa Valley and California's historic state capital - Sacramento. This is truly an impressive itinerary, for an even more impressive price! 

Your holiday itinerary:

Day 1: Join the flight to Vancouver. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel.

Day 2: At leisure in Vancouver. Alternatively join our optional Vancouver City Tour, Capilano Suspension Bridge & Grouse Mountain tour.

Day 3: Morning departure for Tsawassen from where we will join a scenic ferry crossing to Vancouver Island for a one night stay. During the afternoon you will be free to explore or join the optional excursion to Butchart Gardens.

Day 4: Morning ferry crossing to Port Angeles in Washington State. We'll take a scenic drive along the shore, lined by the Olympic National Forest to Seattle where we include a brief orientation tour.

Day 5: Today we travel to Portland via Silver Lake and Mount Helen's visitor centre. You will have free time to explore Portland - "City of Roses".

Day 6: This morning we head for the coast, spending time in Lincoln City before continuing to Newport, famed for its aquarium.

Day 7: We continue south along the coastal 'dune country' to Florence and Coos Bay, before turning inland to the Klamath Mountains in the Coastal Range and Grants Pass.

Day 8: An included full day tour to Crater Lake and Jacksonville, an historic gold rush town named as a US National Historic Landmark.

Day 9: Travel south into California and through Lassen and Plumas National Forests to Reno.

Day 10: A day at leisure in Reno or join our optional full day Gold Rush excursion.

Day 11: Today we travel to Sacramento, before continuing to Napa, famed for its wine. We continue later to San Francisco.

Day 12: A day at leisure to explore San Francisco or perhaps take advantage of our optional excursions including San Francisco, Sausalito & Golden Gate Bridge and a helicopter ride over the city.

Day 13: A further day free in San Francisco, or join our optional tour to Monterey, Carmel & 17-Mile Drive.

Day 14: Transfer to San Francisco Airport for the return overnight flight to the UK.

Day 15: Arrival back at the airport in the UK.
