Our wonderful touring itinerary includes visits to the sunshine state of California, where San Francisco and Los Angeles are top of our sightseeing list. Then there’s the stunning desert landscape of Arizona, home to the magnificent Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas, the 24-hour entertainment capital of the USA. Not forgetting California’s fabulous 17-mile drive and San Diego!
Your holiday itinerary:
Day 1: Join the flight to San Francisco. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel where you will be welcomed with a drink.
Day 2: Enjoy at day at leisure in San Francisco or join an optional full day Wine Country & San Francisco Twilight Sightseeing excursion. This evening join fellow travellers for a special Just Friends dinner.
Day 3: Depart San Francisco and visit Carmel and Monterey. The day also includes the spectacular 17 Mile Drive, before reaching Pismo Beach.
Day 4: Depart Pismo Beach and travel to Hollywood for a spot of celebrity spotting, before continuing to Santa Ana near Los Angeles.
Day 5: A day at leisure or join our full day optional excursion to "The Queen Mary & the Beaches".
Day 6: Today it's off to Las Vegas, with the opportunity to enjoy the city from above with an optional helicopter flight.
Day 7: A day free in Las Vegas before continuing to Laughlin.
Day 8: Today we include a full day visit to the magnificent Grand Canyon, where you'll be taken to the south rim for breathtaking views. An optional helicopter flight is also available.
Day 9: A morning departure for Palm Springs, where during the afternoon you can take advantage of an optional "Palm Springs Explorer".
Day 10: Today we travel to Los Angeles in time for the return flight. En route we include a visit to San Diego.
Day 11: Arrival back at the airport in the UK.
