New England in the Fall
So just imagine an eight-day touring holiday combining the natural splendour of New England in the Fall, with two of America’s most impressive cities. This superb holiday includes quintessential Vermont, Bennington and Williamstown and many quaint towns and villages along the way. Then there’s Boston and New York - the Big Apple, with time to explore Manhattan!
Your holiday itinerary:
Day 1: Join the flight to New York. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will be welcomed with a drink.
Day 2: Free time in Manhattan this morning or why not join our optional city tour. This afternoon, depart New York for the journey to Cavendish, Vermont. This evening, join fellow travellers for a special dinner in the hotel's restaurant.
Day 3: Today you can enjoy an included full day tour, taking you through stunning Fall scenery to Bennington. We will then travel to the 'Grand Canyon in miniature' before continuing to the quintessential New England village of Woodstock.
Day 4: Visit Williamstown in the Berkshire Hills, before travelling onto the Yankee candle factory at Deerfield. From here, head east across the famous Mowhawk Trail to Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Day 5: Head for Boston and perhaps join our optional city tour, before an afternoon at leisure.
Day 6: Today is at leisure, but we're sure you'll want to join our optional Plimoth Plantation and Cape Cod excursion.
Day 7: Return to New York City for the overnight flight homewards. En route enjoy a stop at Newport, Rhode Island.
Day 8: Arrival back at the airport in the UK.
